A large study found that a sedentary life is a massive risk factor to our health and worse than being a smoker or having diabetes or heart disease. The researchers, who tracked fitness levels of individuals and subsequent mortality rates, reported, “We’ve never seen something as pronounced and as objective as this.”
They insisted that a sedentary lifestyle should be seen as a disease, with the obvious treatment being exercise.
